The ultimate summer snack. Sliced turkey, crispy bacon, cheddar, lettuce and tomato, chopped up with mayo and a bunch of black pepper, then toasted in an XL tortilla. The only thing you actually cook here is the bacon.

Why you’ll love this turkey BLT wrap

It’s a turkey club without the third slice of bread. Chopping everything together means you get bacon, turkey and tomato in every single bite instead of one big pull of turkey and nothing else. It’s quick, it’s cold and crunchy in the middle and crispy on the outside, and one batch makes 4 big wraps.

What you need for a turkey BLT chopped wrap

A pound of sliced turkey breast from the deli, a package of bacon, a quarter pound of cheddar (I use sliced, shredded works too), a head of lettuce, one tomato, mayo, black pepper and 4 XL tortillas.

How to make a turkey BLT chopped wrap

  1. Bake the bacon at 400°F for 12–15 minutes until crispy and drain it on a paper towel.
  2. Lay down the shredded lettuce on a cutting board and pile on the turkey, bacon, cheddar and tomato.
  3. Drizzle on a generous amount of mayo, crack a good amount of black pepper over it and chop it all together until it’s bite-sized.
  4. Warm the tortilla, fill it, roll it up tight and toast it in a pan a couple minutes per side until golden.

Pro tips

Grab thick-sliced turkey at the deli counter. The thin shaved stuff turns to mush once you start chopping. Pat your tomato slices dry before they go on the board so the wrap doesn’t get soggy. And if you bake a full tray of bacon on Sunday, you can knock these out in five minutes any day of the week.

What you’ll need

  • A baking sheet
  • Paper towels
  • A cutting board and knife
  • A large pan for toasting

Turkey BLT wrap FAQ

Can I use leftover Thanksgiving turkey?

Absolutely. Shred or dice it and use it the same way. It might be the best thing to do with leftover turkey.

Can I make these ahead?

Chop the filling and keep it covered in the fridge for a day, but leave the tomato out until you’re ready. Wrap and toast right before you eat so the tortilla stays crispy.

What cheese works best?

I use cheddar, sliced or shredded. Pepper jack or provolone are good swaps if you want to switch it up.
